If I'm being honest ... A lot of people's registries bore me. I know this doesn't matter. The gifts are for them after all, and you can't argue that it's good to start a home with a base of classic + useful pieces. But I've often thought part of the problem with the snooze factor is that more interesting places don't offer registries.
