In keeping with my New England coast theme, I passed by a local flower shop yesterday and saw these crustacean-turned-blooms. This shop tries very hard with these ladder displays, and some come out as really cute seasonal displays (pussywillow bent into hearts in February ?), while some are major flops and just look tacky. This one stopped me in the pouring rain though and had me snapping pictures. I'm sure part of it is that I enjoy any use of seashells and coral, but I thought they did a sweet job with this one two. A perfect July bouquet.
