The New York Times did this feature where they allowed readers to send in photos of loved one's they'd lost this past year with a small write up. Certainly these lives do not need the New York Times to validate their time on the earth, but I imagine the opportunity to share a tiny piece of them with the world felt therapeutic and meaningful to those that did. Just clicking on a few I can feel the love and the eagerness to share. What a wonderful way to look back on things that matter in 2011. It's not all about the Kardashian breakup or the Michael Jackson trial for most of us; its about the love and lives we've lost and gained, and knowing our blessings along our journeys.
