I have a favorite block in the city, and I used to think it was my little secret. West 1oth between 5th and 6th is a little slice of heaven with beautiful townhouses, well cared for gardens + perfectly composed window boxes. When I lived in The Village and it was right around the corner, I'd work it in the every route I walked.
